Vinyasa Flow can be defined as breath to movement or arranging something in a special way. Each class is unique and creative. All of our yoga classes are Vinyasa based unless otherwise noted (i.e. Yin, Ashtanga etc)
More than anything… it’s a place to simply be.
level 1 basics- Beginner
When you are new to yoga it can be hard to know where to start. This class is all about foundation and fundamentals. Excellent if you’re brand new to yoga or crave a better understanding of alignment, basic yoga postures,and how to properly unlock the benefits of your breath. in this class SPECIFICALLY, questions are encouraged.this is your starting point to a lifelong journey of yoga.
level 1- Beginner friendly
In our level 1 Vinyasa classes you will be offered standing, balance and seated postures. The teacher will offer clear direction and plenty of modification options, including the use of props. You may be introduced to breathing techniques and meditation.
This vinyasa class is a blend of Level 1 and Level 2. Suitable for a beginner who has a consistent practice and for the seasoned practitioner.
level 2 - intermediate
This vinyasa class is for those that have a good foundation and understanding linking breath to movement. These classes will challenge you with more advanced asanas such as arm balances and inversions. Be prepared to move and sweat.
level 3 - advanced
Take it to the next level. We encourage those that have been coming to Level 2 consistently to move forward and give Level 3 a try. You will see a lot more opportunities to try handstands, deeper binds and more complex vinyasa sequences. Familiarity with sanskrit is recommended.
All Level warm
The room is warmed by infrared heaters and central heating to 80 degrees. This vinyasa class is a blend of Level 1 and Level 2. Suitable for a beginner who has a consistent practice and for the seasoned practitioner.
Level 2 hot - intermediate
The room is heated by infrared heaters and central heating to 90 degrees. This vinyasa class is for those that have a good foundation and understanding linking breath to movement. These classes will challenge you with more advanced asanas such as arm balances and inversions. Be prepared to move and sweat.
Ashtanga Mix is based on the classic primary series, with other options thrown in, sometimes including postures from 2nd or 3rd series. This class is a sun salute-based practice, requiring some strength and deep breathing abilities while incorporating traditional yoga postures, and dynamic movement. All levels are welcome, although a vinyasa flow background is useful. This sequence is a vigorous practice that will challenge and energize you with its focus on building strength and concentration as you flow through powerful, flowing sequences. This type of class is meant to challenge you and your existing practice, make you sweat, have some fun, and learn proper alignment during your flow. Not recommended for beginners who do not have a basic knowledge of yoga postures.
yin deep stretch
This is a slow,meditative practice, which is a challenge in itself, to become more comfortable in moments of stillness. Poses are held for several minutes at a time to enhance natural range of motion in joints. Uniquely so, yin yoga promotes relaxation of the muscles to release deep layers of connective tissue and fascia. Great for all levels, especially for those looking for longer held poses and to acquire flexibility.
An all levels class with a combination of Vinyasa and Yin. The Vinyasa flow part of class will build heat and strength, while the yin is passive and allows you to get into deeper stretches with longer holds. Yinyasa is designed to bring you back to your natural state of well-being.
Level Barre (All Level)
A multidisciplinary approach to fitness using barre moves, core conditioning and muscle strengthening to improve overall fitness. The tiny micro movements will help tone, engage, Lengthen and connect with every muscle in your body creating awareness, energy and power.
