Steve Hustead is a retired cardiologist and passionate yoga instructor. In this workshop Steve brings together his wealth of knowledge about that mighty organ, the heart, with the proven benefits of yoga and the variety of ways certain poses strengthen the heart. All levels are welcome to this workshop!

-A basic understanding of Cardiovascular disease and associated risk factors.
-Explanation of why Yoga is now recognized by both the American Heart Association (AHA), and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) as a useful adjunct to improving cardiovascular health.
-Brief review of basic Types of Yoga Practice.
-An introduction to the Chakra’s with an emphasis on Anahata, the 4th Chakra, also known as the “Heart Chakra”
