Balancing the Five Spirits With Yoga & Acupuncture With Amanda Peruzzi & Angela King
Sunday, September 20th, 10:30am-12pm
Location: 29 Royal Palm Pointe
$65
Join us for the next gathering in our series, Balancing the Five Spirits with Yoga & Acupuncture.
The Five Spirits are a unique aspect of Asian medicine that reflect the emotional and spiritual dimensions of our health.
Autumn is associated with the Lung energy and the spirit of the Po, also called the Corporeal Soul. The Po is the aspect of us that experiences life directly through the body and reveals the answer to the question, What is my body trying to tell me? Before we think about life, we experience it. Every sensation, instinct, and reflex is an expression of the Po, connecting us to the tangible world through our senses. It is the first spirit to enter the body at birth and the first to leave at death.
Acupuncturist Angela King, AP, DOM will lead an exploration of the Corporeal Soul and how classical Chinese medicine understood instinct, sensation, and our most immediate experience of life
