Book Club

with Dr. Luke Stoeckel

Sunday, April 28th, 12 pm - 1 pm

Location: Cardinal DR.

Free discussion

Being involved in a book club allows participants to spend time in inquiry, access to a diverse array of perspectives, and honest dialogue. All of which is a natural extension of the yoga practice. We can refine and transform our beliefs by honoring the learning process that comes from reading and sharing information.

This month's book club is led by Dr. Luke Stoeckel, a clinical neuropsychologist, cognitive neuroscientist, & Level Yoga student. He found yoga in 2010 via Groupon and a 10-minute walk down the street to Baron Baptiste's studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He completed 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017 at Down Dog Yoga in Washington D.C. Luke is a Vero native, VBHS Class '97, and now permanent Vero resident after moving back this past July (2023) with his wife (Casie) and two kids (William, Eliot).

What we’ll read: A mix of titles spanning various genres pertaining to the art and science of yoga, as well as self-development.

How can I participate: Each month we will share a new title along with the date & time of the book club meeting. Book your spot on Mindbody to join the discussion.

It’s free to join us, and tea will be served.

The studio encourages you to shop local! We have confirmed Vero Beach Book Center has this month's book in stock.

We are very used to tending to the physical body, but these other 9 “bodies” need our attention too. This kriya will wake up and activate all ten bodies. Keeping these bodies in balance will help keep the universe within you in balance.
