The Winter Solstice marks a powerful turning point. A moment traditionally devoted to introspection, reflection, and honoring the close of one cycle as another begins. This year carries even greater weight, as we complete a 9-year cycle and step into a fresh chapter of possibility. It is also considered a celebration of the return of the light, a symbolic shift from darkness toward renewal and expansion.

Welcome the turning of the year through a dynamic, intentional flow rooted in breath, presence, and inner listening. We’ll move to clear stagnation, honor what has been, and open space for what wishes to unfold. Guided reflection follows, inviting your Sankalpa to arise, not as a resolution, but as a heartfelt vow. We’ll close with a shared ritual, placing our Word of the Year on the community intention wall as an offering to the year ahead.

This comprehensive teacher training immersion includes three yin practices with live music by Dennis and a variety of instruments (guitar, crystal bowls, gongs, sitar, Native flute, and other healing instruments). Class discussion topics include history and philosophy, meridian theory, application for athletes, stress reduction, and more.
