THE FOREST RETREAT

Reflect, Reconnect, Realign

Tara Blackburn & Amanda Steadman invite you ONE LAST TIME to join at Indigo Nature Retreat. A place that has held so many beautiful memories, meaningful conversations, and moments of connection in the forest.

October 21-24, 2026

Old Fort, North Carolina

Embark on a retreat of reflection, reconnection, and realignment with Amanda Steadman and Tara Blackburn at the Indigo Nature Retreat. This women’s retreat is designed for meaningful movement, heartfelt conversation, quiet moments of reflection, and time together immersed in the forest. Taking place as fall sets in, it offers the perfect backdrop for a restful break from the regular pace of life. Nestled on five acres, Indigo Nature Retreat is surrounded by more than 1,000 acres of untouched forest in Pisgah National Forest, with Newberry Creek providing a soothing natural soundscape.

We welcome yogis of all levels. Space is limited to keep the experience intimate. While this retreat is a wonderful experience to share with a friend or partner, we are happy to welcome those who feel called to join us on their own. Please reach out with questions regarding the accommodations.

Our Forest Retreat package includes yoga + meditation classes, nourishing vegetarian meals, 3-nights cabin accommodation, Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing), a waterfall hike and picnic, soothing sound bath and more. There will also be plenty of free time for quiet reflection, and simply being together in nature.

Join us at Indigo Nature Retreat for a holistic escape where nature’s embrace and rejuvenating experiences await. Step away from your daily routines and immerse yourself in the beauty and stillness of the forest.

“The Forest retreat was everything I needed. A reminder to pause and connect with nature and each other. It was so grounding to be deeply linked to nature. The teachers hold space that allows you to be vulnerable, to cry and laugh together. You are able to really slow things down to ensure you can connect and be your authentic self in the most beautiful setting with the most beautiful people.”
